Christopher A. Edwards is Senior Counsel to the Attorney General. He advises the Acting AG on significant litigation matters and serves as the AG’s primary point of contact for the Division of Law (DOL). Chris is an experienced trial attorney with civil and criminal litigation experience in both the public and private sectors. He also serves on the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s faculty. Prior to joining OAG, Chris served as an Assistant Attorney General, Assistant Chief, and a deputy attorney general in the DOL’s Financial Affairs Practice Group. Before joining the DOL in 2009, Chris spent a decade in private practice in New York and Boston. During his time in Massachusetts, Chris served as a special assistant district attorney in Suffolk County, Boston, and was voted a Massachusetts Rising Star Super Lawyer. Chris is a graduate of Pace University and Harvard Law School.
