AAG Pearl Minato has been designated Senior Counsel with over 25 years’ experience in law enforcement. Previously, Pearl served as Chief of Staff for the Office of Public Integrity & Accountability which includes the Corruption Bureau, Integrity Bureau/Shooting Response, Special Investigations Bureau and the Office of Policing Policy. She was also a Deputy Attorney General with the Corruption Bureau, the Office of the Insurance Fraud Prosecutor and the Statewide Narcotics Task Force. While in these units, she led and prosecuted complex, white-collar priority investigations as well as high level narcotics interdiction matters. Pearl started her career as an Assistant Prosecutor with the Camden and Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Offices where she litigated numerous street and violent crimes cases while assigned to the Trial Team and the Sexual Assault units. Pearl graduated from Hunter College – New York and the Rutgers School of Law – Camden.
