SAFE STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Medications stored in the home pose a danger of abuse, diversion, and accidental poisoning when not stored safely and securely. Unwanted, expired, and unused medications can be safely disposed of 7 days a week, 365 days a year at Project Medicine Drop locations –  secured drop boxes located in the headquarters of local police departments. The drop boxes accept pills, capsules, patches, inhaler, and pet medications, but not syringes or liquids.
