NEWARK – The Orthotics and Prosthetics Board of Examiners has proposed amendments to regulations regarding license application requirements.

The proposal establishes standards as to when the Board may consider an application for licensure abandoned. The Board believes that any application which is not completed within two years of the last notice to the applicant detailing application deficiencies should be deemed abandoned as the applicant has taken no action to obtain the license during that time.

The proposed amendments, and information on how to submit a comment by August 16, 2019, can be viewed here.
