Proposed Regulation

NEWARK – The New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs has proposed amendments to regulations regarding supervision of physical therapist assistants and the provision of wound debridement by physical therapists.  

The proposal implements P.L. 2017, c. 121, which revised supervision standards for licensed physical therapist assistants and expanded the scope of practice for licensed physical therapists to include wound debridement and treatment of balance disorders.
