Proposal Number: PRN 2015-070
Proposal Description:
The New Jersey Racing Commission is proposing the readoption, with amendments, of N.J.A.C. 13:72 and the creation of a new rule – NJAC 13:72-2.12A – both governing the casino simulcasting of horse racing in New Jersey. The majority of proposed amendments to the existing casino simulcasting rule involve technical changes noting the transfer of jurisdiction from the Casino Control Commission to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. The proposed new rule would require that all credit vouchers issued at a casino simulcasting facility shall expire one year after their issue date. The new rule also would require that notice of the one-year expiration of casino simulcasting credit vouchers be either prominently posted at each casino simulcasting facility or printed on the credit voucher itself.
Summary of Proposal:
A complete summary of the proposed casino simulcasting rule readoption with amendments, and the new rule, is posted on the New Jersey Racing Commission Web site at: www.nj.gov/oag/racing/proposed.html
Public Comment:
Public comment on the proposed re-adoption with amendments, and on the proposed new rule, will be accepted until August 14, 2015. Please direct all comments to:
