Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) announced that 26 people have been charged for their alleged roles in an enterprise that used violence and intimidation to operate an open-air drug market in Newark.

Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin announced that Deputy Director Theresa Hilton will become the Director of the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) when J. Stephen Ferketic leaves the office later this month to pursue a leadership position in the private sector. Attorney General Platkin also announced that Assistant Attorney General Sara Quigley will assume the Chief of Staff position, a position vacated late last year.
