In-Person Programs

If you have an AGAI course registration account, sign up for courses here.

If you do not have an AGAI course registration account, you must open one in order to sign up for in-person programs.

Department of Law & Public Safety employees and State employees connected to the Garden State Network can set up an AGAI course registration account here.  Click on the Create Account link in the Log In box and select a user name and password. Once you create an account, you can access the AGAI Course Registration System to register for programs. Please retain your user name and password.

Government employees who are not connected to the Garden State Network must email the Advocacy Institute at njagai@njoag.gov for an authorization code to access to the AGAI Course Registration System through the My New Jersey portal.  When you receive a portal authorization code, you will be prompted to go to the My New Jersey page and create a portal account.  Create the portal account and enter your authorization code.  This is a one-time process.

After setting up a portal account, you must set up an AGAI course registration account.  Log on to the My New Jersey Portal and open the AGAI Course Registration System home page.  Click on the Create Account link in the Log In box and select a user name and password.  Once you create an account, you can access the AGAI Course Registration System to register for programs. Please retain your user name and password

After applying for a program, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.  A separate email confirms registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you are on the wait list. You can verify registration or wait list status through the My Account/My Classes feature in your AGAI registration account.

If you cannot attend a program that you registered for, please withdraw through the My Account/My Classes feature in your AGAI registration account. This will open up a seat for someone on the wait list. The AGAI fills seats from the wait list; registrants cannot reassign their seat to a colleague.

Webinars

Employees who meet program eligibility criteria will receive an email with a program announcement and a Zoom registration link.  Click on the link to apply for the program.  You will receive an email confirming your registration, with a link for the course. Do not delete that email – the link is required to access the webinar.  If you believe that you are eligible for a program, but did not receive an email invitation, please contact the Institute at njagai@njoag.gov  In order to earn CLE credit, registrants must download Zoom before their first webinar.
