Employee Licensing

Licensure is the cornerstone of the regulatory system. Licenses are required of casino owners and operators, casino employees, and companies that do business with casinos in order to ensure that those involved with this industry meet the statutory requirements of good character, honesty and integrity and to keep the New Jersey casino industry free from organized crime. The DGE conducts all licensing investigations.

Upon receipt, the Division of Gaming Enforcement (Division) will conduct an investigation of an individual’s casino key employee license resubmission application (Key Resubmission) that was provided to the New Jersey Casino Control Commission (CCC). If the Division requires additional information, we will contact you. The casino key employee license remains valid as long as the Key Resubmission application is submitted timely, and the required fee is paid. Upon completion of the investigation, the Division will recommend whether the CCC should approve your Key Resubmission application and you will be notified accordingly. If you should have any inquiries regarding the status of your Key Resubmission, please contact the Division at the electronic mailbox Key.Resubmission@njdge.gov and include your name, telephone number and Casino Key License # in your request.
