New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement Announces May 2023 Total Gaming Revenue Results

ATLANTIC CITY — Today the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement announced the May 2023 total gaming revenue results.

Casino Win:
Based upon filings with the Division of Gaming Enforcement, Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $227.3 million for May 2023, reflecting a decrease of 2.4% when compared to $233.0 million for May 2022. Year-to-date Casino Win for the nine casino hotel properties was $1.1 billion, reflecting growth of 3.1% compared to $1.08 billion for the prior year-to-date period.

Internet Gaming Win:
For the month of May 2023, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners was $161.4 million, reflecting growth of 18.7% compared to $136.0 million for the prior period. For the year-to-date period, Internet Gaming Win reported by casinos and their partners was $781.5 million, reflecting growth of 14.7% compared to $681.4 million for the prior year-to-date period.

Sports Wagering Gross Revenue:
Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $82.2 million for May 2023, reflecting a 33.4% increase when compared to $61.6 million in the prior period. Sports Wagering Gross Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $374.5 million for the year-to-date, reflecting a 39.0% increase when compared to $269.4 million for the prior year-to-date period.

Total Gaming Revenue:
Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $470.9 million for May 2023, reflecting a 9.4% increase from $430.6 million reported in May 2022. For year-to-date, Total Gaming Revenue reported by casinos, racetracks, and their partners was $2.27 billion reflecting an 11.7% increase from $2.03 billion reported in the prior period.
